Shapes are a staple when it comes to early learning! I was thinking, its super helpful to know the shapes when you are a beginner Spanish speaker too because a lot of times we have to describe things in great detail when you don’t know the exact word for something. For example: if you don’t know what the word for pumpkin is you would describe it like this– “the big, orange, circle (or round), vegetable”. All of the adjectives mentioned are important to describe the word you are searching for adequately.
In this lesson you will learn the most common shapes! It might feel silly to do the motions but I promise, they help you memorize the word! When you use more than one sense (in this case audio, visual, and touch or movement) it helps your brain use more than one way to recall that information. When I was trying to memorize things in college I would come up with silly voices, pictures, and motions to memorize things… it worked!
